A NUTTY GAME
The toddlers learn about the quantity of one and two.
They were asked to give each squirrel on the paper one nut.
Then they were asked to give each squirrel two nuts.
SQUIRREL TREATS
We made yummy squirrel treats. First the toddlers went outside
to collect pine cones. Then we added soy "nut" butter or marshmallow cream
to the pine cones. Next we put corn and sunflower seeds all over the pine cones.
We went outside to place our treats all around the school.
We have been checking on our squirrel treats since hanging them to see if any animals have been eating from them, and also talking about what animals we think may be eating from them.
