As part of our October lesson we had a lesson on squirrels.
We made binoculars to view the squirrels. After making squirrel treats,
we went outside to see if we could find any squirrels eating the treats.
The toddlers also painted squirrels. They got very creative!
We also filled our sensory table with dirt and nuts. The toddlers were
invited to dig in the dirt and hide nuts like the squirrels do.
He painted gray on one half of his squirrel and black on the other half. |
I liked how he held his paper so it wouldn't move when he painted. |
She painted a face on her squirrel. |
